GodLike take BMSD semi-final lead after 78-point second day

GodLike Esports took the lead in the BMSD 2026 semi-finals after scoring 78 points across six games on the second day in Hyderabad. They now have 102 points overall, ahead of Team Apex Gaming on 94.

Vasista Esports sit third with 79 points, followed by Nebula Esports on 73. The standings remain important beyond the battle for first place: only the top eight teams at the end of the semi-finals will qualify directly for the Grand Finals.

Top eight after day two

K9 Esports are fifth on 71 points, with Genesis Esports sixth on 67. Team Outrage hold seventh place with 58 points, while Myth Official occupy the final direct-qualification position on 56.

GodLike’s second-day total has put them at the head of the 24-team field, but neither they nor Team Apex Gaming have secured a Grand Finals place yet. Twelve matches remain in the semi-finals before the direct qualifiers are decided.

Immediately outside the top eight, Welt Esports are ninth with 54 points and Hyper-Catz are 10th with 53. Team Tamilas follow on 49, ahead of Cultrex Esports x Zero Ark and 4TR Official, who each have 47 points.

Wyld Fangs are 14th on 46 points. MadKings and Rapid Chaos Esports are next on 37 each, followed by Team Soul on 35 and 7Gods Esports on 32.

Learn From Past have 31 points in 19th place, while Version1 x Blue Army have 30. Team AX, Gladiators Esports, Orangutan and Elite Nova Esports complete the standings on 29, 27, 23 and 12 points respectively.

What happens next

The semi-finals run from October 8 to 11. The 24 teams are divided into three groups of eight, with 24 matches scheduled across four days and each team set to compete in 16 matches.

Once the remaining matches are complete, the top eight in the overall standings will advance straight to the BMSD 2026 Grand Finals. Teams finishing ninth through 24th will instead enter the Last Chance stage on October 12 and 13, where four more Grand Finals places are available.

The Grand Finals are scheduled for October 16 to 18 in Hyderabad. For now, GodLike and Team Apex Gaming lead the standings, while the rest of the field still has two days of semi-final play to secure its position.
